Senior Python Software Engineer, Contractor – Full Time (Europe Time Zone – remote)

Are you an experienced Senior Python Software Engineer, who is located in a Europe time zone and cares about making a difference in the world, and is excited to make an impact at a growing SaaS company??

Join us at SupplyShift as a contracted Software Engineer. We’re a thriving SaaS enterprise software platform that creates new levels of visibility in global supply chains by advancing their impact through actionable data. We work to make a difference in this exciting arena of global corporate social responsibility. This position is an annual contract and would be paid monthly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the software to meet user requirements
  • Estimate efforts required for development
  • Understand complex architectural patterns
  • Work in Agile environment
  • Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs
  • Develop separate elements of a software that work well in the program as a whole
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Develop unit tests
  • Be able to divide a complex task into phases/subtasks
  • Predict technical challenges
  • Understand technical debt and its impact to the product

Basic Qualifications

  • Great English
  • 5+ years of experience developing with Python
  • Expertise and experience developing with Django
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, Git, Jenkins
  • Be proactive and collaborate with teammates and other stakeholders across the company
  • Must be located in a time zone within Europe

Sales Operations Manager (remote – CST or EST time zone)

Are you an experienced Sales Operations Manager, located in CST or EST time zone,  who cares about making a difference in the world, and is excited to make an impact at a growing SaaS company?

Sales Operations Managers are the front line of the sales process- actively targeting, identifying, engaging, and converting qualified leads to the sales team while collecting invaluable insights for SupplyShift’s growth. They collaborate with marketing, create campaigns, research new markets, and manage incoming marketing-qualified leads. The Sales Operations Manager communicates with prospects and coordinates and hosts discovery calls, then works closely with the sales team to nurture these opportunities. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the sales funnel
  • Streamlining and optimizing the sales process
  • Selecting, implementing, and managing sales automation tools
  • Manage CRM data (HubSpot)
  • Perform sales forecasting
  • Work with sales leadership to develop organizational goals
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales process and find ways to reduce them to make the sales machine run faster
  • Manage metric/analytics programs to help sales leaders make data-backed business decisions
  • Assist with onboarding new commercial team members

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of how to effectively leverage and interact with various teams throughout the organization
  • HubSpot proficient, awareness of SaaS modeling
  • Proven availability to identify growth-enabling initiatives
  • Built reports that inform sales reps, managers, and leadership on historical results, current performance, and expected results in the future.
  • 3+  years of work experience in a SaaS technology
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills. 
  • Detail oriented, and numbers-driven with strong follow-through, while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
  • Motivated and driven to actively target, engage and convert qualified prospects
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a motivated, self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and absorb new product knowledge quickly
