Business Development Representative (US-PST time zone)

How you will make an impact:

As a Business Development Representative, your focus will be to drive pipeline growth as a hybrid outbound function of the Commercial Department for SupplyShift. In this role, you are energized and driven to connect the right people to SupplyShift. You are excited to actively target, engage and qualify leads while collecting invaluable insights for SupplyShift’s growth. You are a proactive self-starter that enjoys creating outbound strategies, collaborating cross-departmentally, and love achieving metric-driven goals. As a Business Development Representative, you would regularly host discovery calls and work closely with the sales team to nurture these opportunities to close. This highly visible role requires excellent client- and partner-facing communication, documentation, prospect management, and technical skills. Expertise in procurement or sustainability is preferred.

You will report and work closely with the Director of Business Development. As a Business Development Representative, you should thrive in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment, work well as part of a dynamic cross-functional team, and be able to gather qualified leads and grow the prospective pipeline.

You’ll be a difference maker because you can:

  • Generate new leads to grow the pipeline and build new business for target accounts
  • Actively target, engage and convert qualified prospects
  • Regularly host qualifying calls with prospects

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all outbound efforts within your targets
  • Multi-task for varying initiatives and align with marketing efforts
  • Utilize sales engagement tools, data scraping tools, and reporting tools and track progress in CRM
  • Monitor ongoing industry trends, issues, and events
  • Build reports and run a thorough analysis
  • Occasional travel may be required for this role based on business development opportunities

We are looking for people who have/are:

  • Located in the US-PST time zone
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a SaaS technology solution sales role
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of outbound sales experience- including account targeting, prospecting, and hosting discovery calls. A proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Proactive self-starter, highly organized, and self-motivated. Numbers driven with strong follow through
  • Able to work effectively, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment and absorb new product knowledge quickly
  • Able to work independently with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experienced having conversations with c-level decision-makers
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of corporate responsibility, ESG, and sustainability and/or strong interest in global sustainability issues
  • Proficient in using Hubspot CRM

Professional Services Project Manager (remote – EST time zone)

How you will make an impact:

The Professional Services Project Manager will work very closely with multiple global enterprise customers to manage successful implementations of SupplyShift’s SaaS software platform and delivery of accompanying services. You will provide leadership, hands-on support, and advice to augment and operate their supply chain transparency and ESG projects on the platform so they can focus on their core business functions and quickly make progress toward specific sustainability goals. This highly visible role requires excellent client- and partner-facing communication, documentation, project management, and technical skills. Expertise in procurement or sustainability is preferred.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Global Services to expand and standardize SupplyShift’s service offerings and assessment solutions. The person in this role should thrive in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment, work well as part of a dynamic cross-functional team, and be able to drive business process efficiencies.

You’ll be a difference maker because you can:

  • Lead complex SaaS platform implementations, including services for enterprise customers
  • Perform ad hoc services in support of other customers and the Implementation Team
  • Develop new and refine existing service offerings and efficient delivery processes

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful implementation of multiple enterprise-level, concurrent customer projects from start to finish, including the delivery of support services, according to the agreed-upon scope, timeline, and contract.
  • Align procurement and/or sustainability expertise with a deep understanding of the product functionality and services to best advise customers on platform and partner solutions.
  • Quickly come up to speed on your customer’s business practices and industry to understand their objectives, gather complex project requirements, including external API and data feed integrations, and translate them into actionable implementation plans with tasks, schedules, contingency plans for scope changes, and change management approach.
  • Serve as a primary contact and deliver ‘above and beyond’ customer service to influence and motivate customers, lead platform training and conversations around responsibilities, ownership, and delivery deadlines to secure buy-in and commitment to accountabilities.
  • Collect customer product and service feedback, document lessons learned, conduct project reviews, and recommend improvements to product functionality and services to maximize the customer’s return on their SupplyShift investment.
  • Proactively communicate & report to customers, peers, and management on project status, milestone achievement, issues, and accomplishments against objectives.
  • Set clear expectations with project teams, manage the flow of tasks, and hold yourself and other team members accountable for deadlines and deliverables. This includes maintaining internal and external project documentation, time tracking, and resource utilization against budget.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SupplyShift’s enterprise service offerings, procedures, and tools to ensure all work is being performed at optimal levels.
  • Deliver ad hoc services in support of other customer projects ranging from assessment consulting, setting response validation criteria, and analyzing results and creating reports/presentations.
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary or appropriate.

We are looking for people who have/are:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience managing multiple enterprise-level customer projects simultaneously from beginning to end within a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional experience deploying and managing SaaS implementations in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment and delivering hands-on, full-service customer support.
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical customers and leadership, including demo SaaS software.
  • Knowledge of global sustainability trends across multiple industries, including climate change, responsible procurement practices, and a changing regulatory landscape.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and thrive in a start-up, fast-paced, and changing environment using strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Results, outcomes-based, and detail-oriented, proactively seeking out newer, better ways to get things done, using existing resources, and creating efficiencies.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; presentation, written, and oral communication and comfortable interacting with all levels, including executives.
  • Ability to work independently and with remote teams during non-traditional business hours.
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights, recommendations, and action plans and present findings to organizations
  • Proficiency with Google and MS Suite applications and project management software.
  • Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus.
  • Able to travel if needed.

Senior Python Software Engineer, Contractor – Full Time, Russian Speaking (Europe Time Zone – remote)

We’re a thriving SaaS enterprise software platform that creates new levels of visibility in global supply chains by advancing their impact through actionable data. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the software to meet user requirements
  • Estimate efforts required for development
  • Understand complex architectural patterns
  • Work in Agile environment
  • Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs
  • Develop separate elements of a software that work well in the program as a whole
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Develop unit tests
  • Be able to divide a complex task into phases/subtasks

Basic Qualifications

  • Great English
  • Speaking fluent Russian is required

  • Expertise and experience developing with Django
